Strengths:

  • The firm specializes in offering high-quality fabrics, which gains them customer loyalty, revenue growth, competitive pricing, and enhances profit margins.
  • The company focuses on providing customized fabrics and flexible production options in order to meet the changing needs of its customers.
  • In FY25, about 67% of its revenue comes from the exporting of Ikat fabrics to international markets like Thailand, Bahrain, Singapore, and Cambodia.
  • Its manufacturing facility is situated in Surat, a hub for synthetic fabrics and hosiery products, which keeps the company close to raw materials suppliers while increasing productivity and profitability.

Weaknesses:

  • Its business is mostly dependent on the yarn and its related raw materials. Any sudden fluctuations in the price of the yarn or its availability can adversely impact the business and profitability.
  • The firm has experienced negative cash flow in the past. If negative cash flow continues in the future can negatively affect the business and financial condition.
  • The company saw significant sales volume during festive seasons, weddings, and other cultural events, which exposed them to seasonal trends.
  • Harikanta Overseas has contingent liabilities of 83.80 lakhs. If they have to pay the liabilities in the future can negatively affect the business and profitability.

Harikanta Overseas IPO: Should You Apply or Not?

My Verdict:

Harikanta Overseas IPO operates in the textile fabrics sector, which benefits from steady domestic and export demand. Along with the in-depth research and taking advisors’ advice, one can apply it in the Hrikanta Overseas IPO. The company has a mission to deliver high-quality fabric solutions for both domestic and international markets by using advanced technology and sustainable manufacturing practices.

In 2024, the company expanded by adding new factory premises and starting in-house yarn processing initiatives. One should always keep in mind that an IPO listing depends on market moods and demand on the listing day. Though IPO GMP is also a considerable point, it can not be guaranteed due to its unofficial nature.
