On November 1, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, the NSE will have its Diwali Muhurat trading session, On this auspicious occasion bigger investors invest and make profits and believe in a long-term basis. Big investors mostly buy shares followed by Chopda Pujan, and pray for prosperity and health.
In honor of the beginning of the Hindu calendar year Samvat 2081, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) have decided to have a Diwali Muhurat Trading session on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
On Diwali usually, the market will be shut for normal trading, however, there will be a special trading window open for just 1 hour in the evening. As decided by NSE, the pre-opening session will be conducted from 05:45 pm – 06:00 pm.
Traders who have traded during this time may be blessed with higher profits as it is considered an auspicious day to start new trading for big investors, surrounded by the light of diyas and colorful rangoli designs.
Of the last 17 special sessions, the BSE Sensex has closed higher 13 times, suggesting that investors have historically achieved strong returns. 13 of the 17 trading sessions that have taken place up till 2023 have been profitable for the investors. Four trading sessions remained, all of which ended negatively. The BSE Muhurat trading Session starts from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. While the closing session will take place between 7:10 pm and 7:20 pm.
