Prestige Hospitality plans to launch an IPO worth ₹2500 crore

Prestige Hospitality Ventures Ltd is all set to file its DRHP Draft Red Herring Prospectus to the market regulator SEBI with the aim to raise funds of ₹2000 to ₹2500 crore via IPO Initial Public Offering this month, according to sources.

The reason behind raising funds through an Initial public offering is to utilize the proceeds to grow the company by expanding its hospitality business. The funds will be used to build new hotels while improving the current ones.

A person who is aware of the company’s details said that the prestige hospitality may submit its DRHP within two weeks. This step is taken towards the company’s growth by building hotels and hospitality spaces.

Founded in December 2017, Prestige Hospitality Ventures, a part of Prestige Estates Projects, is one of the leading firms in the hospitality industry is specializes in managing a wide range of hotel businesses. Some of the well-established hotels, such as JW Marriott at Prestige Golfshire and Conrad Bengaluru, operate under Prestige Hospitality Ventures.  

Prestige Group said in the previous year that they are planning to grow their hotel business in the upcoming 3 to 4 years, with the target of expanding their hospitality business. And that can happen with the launch of this IPO. The funds raised through this IPO will be used to speed up the growth of the business.
