Waaree Renewables secures ₹740 crore of solar EPC order for 125 MWAC project

On Tuesday, Waaree Renewables declared that a consortium of three firms, with the involvement of the company, has secured ₹740 crores of solar EPC order for a 125 MWAC project.

According to the regulatory filing, the 125 MWAC project is set to be completed within 18 months of signing the contract.

The company signed a contract for an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) order worth ₹740 crores from the well-known power distribution company. Along with a consortium of three firms, one of the member WAAREERTL has secured the contract of EPC for a 125 MWAC project, which includes turnkey execution and operation and maintenance.

Waaree renewables declared that in the previous year, it secured a term sheet to work on the EPC project for a ground-mounted solar PV project with a capacity of 2012.47 MWp DC.  

The estimated cost of the project is around ₹1,233.50 crore. This project comprises the development and execution of a large-scale renewable energy project.
