TCS dividend: TCS announced FY2025 dividend of ₹30 per share. 

A substantial company in the IT sector Tata Consultancy Services declared ₹30 dividend per share to shareholders, on 10th April 2025.

TCS, a Tata Group company, paid out a total ₹126 last year. In FY23, it gave the maximum dividend of ₹115 per share, wherein a special dividend was ₹67 per share. 

TCS company will stop providing dividends one day before the record date. In addition, after the ex-date declaration, one will not be able to purchase dividends upon shares, a shareholder must have stock of TCS before the Ex-date.  

However, the AGM (Annual General Meeting) date is yet to be declared, if the shareholder approves, then the dividend will be paid on the fifth day of the annual General Meeting. 

As per the sources, the FY2025 dividend is already higher than last year’s FY24, which was ₹73. Since 28, October 2004, TCS has provided 88 dividends. 

TCS shares last traded ex-dividend on January 17, 2025, after the board declared a special dividend of ₹66 per share and an interim dividend of ₹10 per equity share. However, the board has not approved it, once it has decided, the record date will be out. 

As per the Financial Express, TCS said:” We would like to inform you that at the Board Meeting held today, the Directors have recommended a Final Dividend of ₹30 per Equity Share of ₹1 each of the Company which shall be paid/dispatched on the fifth day from the conclusion of the 30th Annual General Meeting, subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company.” 

Before the earnings announcement, the company’s shares ended at ₹3,239 on the NSE, down 1.64%. Over the past year, the stock has dropped 19% and has declined 21% in 2025 so far.
