The Sponge Iron is mainly utilized to make steel in electric arc and induction furnaces. The manufacturing plant is in Siltara, Raipur (Chhattisgarh), spread over about 13.45 acres, with a yearly production capacity of 30,000 metric tonnes. Having the sponge iron plant in a good location gives them easy access to essential raw materials like high-quality iron ore, pellets, coal, and dolomite needed for making sponge iron. Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh are some of the states where the company sells its products. The company includes 92 full-time employees as of April 30, 2025.
