RVNL secures EPC contract from South Western Railway

RVNL - Rail Vikas Nigam received approval for an EPC contract worth ₹156.35 crore from South Western Railway. After Rail Vikas Nigam received a contract from South Western Railway on March 7, 2025, investors saw a drastic rise in the share price to Rs.347.40.

The EPC contract consists of designing, supplying, installing, testing, and starting a 2X25 KV overhead electrification (OHE) and power supply system. It also involves electrical services, engineering, and telecom work as well.

The contract is for the Rayadurga-Topavagada section of the TK-RDG railway line which is scheduled to be finished within 18 months.

Numerous railway projects, including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, significant bridges, cable-stayed bridge construction, and institutional buildings, are carried out by RVNL, one of the top companies in the industry.
