This bid took the company to establish revenue and growth opportunities. This opportunity raised the Rail Vikar Nigam Ltd share price to Rs.330.70 as of March 12, 2025.

The project is all about constructing a six-lane access-controlled road connecting Sabbavaram bypass to Sheelanagar junction of NH-516C in Andhra Pradesh. This project was aimed at strengthening the RVNL’s position in the infrastructure sector by improving connectivity to the Visakhapatnam Port, helping regional trade and logistics.

RVNL initiates the strategic approach by being the lowest bidder to expand its portfolio by establishing its presence on the roads and highway sector, supporting the government’s infrastructure growth, exceeding the railways sector.

The Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), in which the public and private sectors share investment risks, will be used to carry out the project. This project shows the capability of RVNL to expand its business into other sectors, other than the railway sector.
