Why was the Phytochem Remedies IPO cancelled?

As per the sources, the management decided to cancel the IPO of ₹38 crores because of capital market volatility, which forces investors to change their sentiments. 

Accordingly, the Company shall not be proceeding with the Issue and requests you to kindly take note of the same,” Sharma said in a filing. 

On Monday, the Phytochem Remedies IPO subscription was completed, resulting in approx 797 bids. The IPO has received around 23.1 lakh shares, raising about ₹22.63 crore.

Phytochem Remedies IPO details 

The Phytochem Remedies IPO was open from December 18 to 22, 2025. It was a fresh issue worth ₹38.22 crore, with 1,200 shares in each lot. The price band is set at ₹98 per share. The IPO was expected to be listed on the BSE and NSE on December 26, 2025. 

During the subscription, this IPO was subscribed to only 0.57 times by day three. Wherein, the retailer’s contributions were 0.83 times, non-institutional investors showed low interest at 0.31 times, while market makers fully participated at 1.00 times.
