Automotive components manufacturer Belrise Industries Ltd got approval on Tuesday, 4th March 2025, for IPO worth ₹2150 crore, which is a fresh issue along with a face value ₹5 of each share. On Tuesday, November 19, Belrise Industries took a significant step and submitted its Draft Red Herring Prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
The company plans to raise ₹2,150 crore through an IPO, featuring a fresh issue of equity shares, each with a face value of ₹5. This move marks a crucial milestone in the company’s growth journey. In this IPO, no offer for sale, resulting in all the IPO proceeds would be allocated to the company’s betterment.
The public issue is managed by Axis Capital Limited, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Private Limited, Jefferies India Private Limited, and SBI Capital Markets Limited.
The promoters of the company are Shrikant Shankar Badve, Supriya Shrikant Badve, and Sumesh Shrikant Badve.
Belrise Industries may raise ₹430 crore through a pre-IPO placement before launching its IPO for subscription. If the company proceeds with this, the ₹430 crore raised will be deducted from the total amount of ₹2150 crore.
Belrise Industries Limited intends to raise funds through the IPO to repay off its existing debt borrowed from certain companies. Additionally, the remaining will be used to support company expenses.
As per the DRHP, Belrise Industries plans to allocate up to 50% of the IPO to Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), with 60% of that portion reserved for anchor investors. Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) will receive at least 15%, while 35% will be allocated for retail investors.
Established in 1996, with a great turnover of ₹7,484.2 crore, Belrise Industries specializes in Automotive systems for the Two-Wheeler, Three-Wheeler, and Four-Wheeler Passenger and commercial vehicle.
