LIC Raises ₹5627 Crores from 123 Anchor Investors

The Life Insurance Corporation of India, LIC raised ₹5627 crores from anchor investors on May 02, Monday before the IPO. The LIC IPO is to open on May 04, Wednesday. The company allotted a total of 5,92,96,853 equity shares to 123 Anchor investors at an upper price band of ₹949. The anchor investors list includes 15 Mutual Funds through a total of 99 schemes. The IPO Committee of the Company at their meeting held on May 02, 2022, in consultation with Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, Axis Capital Limited, BofA Securities India Limited, Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited, Goldman Sachs (India) Securities Private Limited, ICICI Securities Limited, JM Financial Limited, J.P. Morgan India Private Limited, Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India) Private Limited, and SBI Capital Markets Limited, has finalized the allocation of 5,92,96,853 equity shares, to Anchor Investors at the Anchor Investor Allocation Price of ₹949/- per Equity Share. The LIC IPO is to open on May 04 and close on May 09, 2022. The price band is fixed at ₹902 to ₹949. LIC IPO application minimum bid is for 15 Shares (₹14,235) and the maximum bid is 210 shares (₹199,290). The Book Running Lead Managers of the IPO are Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, Axis Capital Limited, BofA Securities India Limited, Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited, Goldman Sachs (India) Securities Private Limited, ICICI Securities Limited, JM Financial Limited, J.P. Morgan India Private Limited, Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India) Private Limited, and SBI Capital Markets Limited.
