PRISM, the parent company of OYO, submitted its updated draft red herring prospectus (UDRHP) to SEBI to raise ₹6,650 crore via an initial public offering (IPO).
According to the source, the IPO will be entirely a fresh issue with no Offer-for-Sale component.
OYO filed its UDRHP on Tuesday, June 30, which mentioned the consideration of a pre-IPO placement of ₹1,330 crore. If the pre-IPO round takes place, the company will reduce the fresh issue size.
The proceeds raised from the fresh issue are to be used for the repayment/prepayment of the existing borrowings availed by the company.
Founded in 2012 by Ritesh Agarwal, OYO is one of the leading hospitality platforms in India, owned by PRISM. Headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana, OYO runs various leased and franchised hotels, homes, and other living spaces in India.
The firm submitted its confidential draft papers in December 2025. Many new-age companies like Meesho, Swiggy, Groww, PhysicsWallah, and boAt have considered filing draft papers via a confidential route. SEBI’s confidential route gives privacy to the company.
