Caliber Mining and Logistics is among the top 10 mining companies with 35+ years of experience, with 64% growth in revenue and consistent EBITDA. Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), Adani Power, GMR Warora Energy, Dhariwal Infrastructure, and KSR Freight Carriers are the major clients of the company.

For the medium- to long-term investment, this IPO might be good. Overall, investors should carefully evaluate the company’s fundamentals, strengths, risks, and growth prospects before making any investment decision.

Strengths:

  • Known as a fast-growing and comprehensive coal mining and logistics solutions provider.
  • As of May 15, 2026, the firm has achieved a strong order book of ₹9,55,089.08 lakhs, backed by strong growth in the mining industry and from Coal India subsidiaries.
  • Constant growth in financial performance, achieving a revenue CAGR of 32.67%, growing from ₹953.12 crore in FY2024 to ₹1,677.66 crore in FY2026.
  • Support of a strong management team and promoters with Deep industry expertise.

Weaknesses:

  • The firm is exposed to operating risks like flooding, delays due to truck machinery, equipment failures, and unavailability of diesel fuel and water, which lead to increased costs of production, which can adversely impact the business.
  • As of FY26, around 90% of the company’s revenue comes from the top 3 customers. Loss of any of these top customers can badly affect the business and financial condition.
  • Its operations are run on power, fuel, and stores and spares. An increase in the cost of power, fuel, and stores and spares, or an inability to retain the necessary power and fuel, could disrupt production.
  • Mining operations require a lot of government approvals, licenses, and permits. Failing to retain these approvals or permits on time can delay or stop the mining operations, which can negatively affect the business.
