Prataap Snacks IPO is coming on 22-Septmber. They are doing their business with a brand name Yellow Diamond. They are one of the top snack maker in the Indian market. The IPO has good potential and doing good business overall.
Prataap Snacks incorporated in 2009 and their major revenue comes from extrunded snack, chips and namkeen. The major revenue comes from extrunded snacks which is around 60%. They have manufacturing facility in Guwahati, Assam. They have 205 super stockist and 3400 distributors all over India.

As the name all knows they have good cash flow and doing their business in all over India. They have revenue increased yoy which is 906 crore in 2017 which is almost 2.5 times compare to 2013. The growth is good yoy while PAT went down in 2017 around 10 crore from 27 crore compare to 2016. Prataap Snacks is looking positive for us in coming years.

pratap snacks promoters are definitely cashing in with bull mrkt run. they know, its hard hard competition in industry spl. some big establish players and now international player are also entering mrkt with best sold product world wide. well long term and all is clrly unpredictable … but buying share at higher value kills most of long term returns as many people just end selling it at breakeven after tried less waiting for it to go up
it is good to apply for ipo,for such at high PE multiple of 114.25 of FY16A EPS of 8.21 and at a PE of 191.5 of weighted avg of last 3 year PE…please suggest
Is it a good IPO investment at a PE of more than 180 to 190?
People do have doubt over this story.
